PS3 Cobra-ODE Announced

Today we might have missed this from before but from the makers of the Cobra-USB Dongle comes  a new device or program that will emulate the PS3s Optical Drive. What this tool will do is allow you to play your PS3 game "backups" without the need of any Custom firmware to be installed.

The Cobra USB team claims that this will be the "most advanced PS3 Optical Drive Emulator".

While the Cobra-USB was a DRM infected dongle and was expected to be a great product I have yet to see what kind of security they enable on this tool.

No more information was given or discussed upon the arrival of the website.
