PSP Half Byte Loader BETA 1.1 Rev 95 Stable


Half-Byte Loader (HBL) is an open source Homebrew Loader for the Sony PSP. It allows to play fan-made games on any PSP up to firmware 6.20. HBL allows to run emulators for the Game Boy, Game Boy Advance, Nintendo 64, Sega Megadrive, NES, Super NES… and many other applications. HBL is currently the ONLY way to play homebrew games on any PSP that has a firmware 5.50, 5.55, 5.70, 6.00, 6.10, 6.20, including on the PSP Go.
HBL Currently does NOT work on firmware 6.30.

HBL Rev. 95:
Fix for issue 270 Sound in picodrive (needs to be 44KHz though, check the settings in picodrive!)
Fix a bug introduced in R94 with libraries unloading. This fixes issues 280 and 283 (goEar and pspkvm)
Fix for issue 284 (can’t save in snes9xTYL). Thanks JJS and SeanC994

Download and install the Patapon 2 demo to your MemoryStick or /Mass Memory (PSP Go)
Download the HBL revision 95 and copy the “hbl” directory and the “h.bin” file to memory root
Now copy the hacked save data folder UCUS98732_DATA02 to /PSP/SAVEDATA
Move any homebrew you want to play or try to the folder: /PSP/GAME
Start the Patapon 2 demo and load the hacked save game, then load your homebrew from the HBL menu
