DropBox Drops Me for Excessive Traffic

Hi Mateo,

This email is an automated notification from Dropbox that your Public links have been temporarily suspended for generating excessive traffic. Your Dropbox will continue to function normally with the exception of Public links.

This suspension is temporary (3 days for the first time).

Please visit Dropbox support if you have any questions.

I clearly do not know what else is a good direct hosting and downloading website. I am going to upload a few of my next projects on megaupload.

As soon as I get my hands on LA Noire that'll be my next project.

They replied to my ticket saying this:

"Hi Mateo,

We automatically ban public links when they are responsible for an uncommonly large amount of traffic. These include all of the sharing links, not just the Public folder links.

The limit is 10GB/day for free accounts. Paid accounts have a much higher limit of 250GB/day. While we want you to be able to share your files with your friends we can't be a content delivery network for the entire Internet.

Links are banned temporarily (3 days for the first time) and your account will eventually restore its public links.

Regards,
Sean

I would by their pro service but 100 dollars a year is so outrageous.

I replied back  and said

Thank you for the reply. See I would buy a pro account but I think 9 dollars a month is way to much. Ill move my stuff off because I'm not satisfied.

Have a Nice day.
