The Apple TV has just been jailbroken by MuscleNerd via the SHAtter exploit but is not yet ready for primetime. MuscleNerd states that he is “not quite sure how to run apps yet!” but if past history repeats itself, the dev team should be able to get Apple TV apps working.
No word on when the Apple TV jailbreak will be ready for the public but at least we now know, for sure, that it is possible. Update: Video after the break!
